Bucerias is known for its great beachside restaurants, large Canadian expat community and a traditional Mexican way of life. Time seems to slow down while you are in Bucerias and it is hard to resist the overwhelming temptation to kick back and forget about "real life" back home. Conchas Chinas (the so-called Beverly Hills of Puerto Vallarta) is located just south of downtown Puerto Vallarta along the winding coastal highway and up into the skirt of the Sierra Madre Mountains. The views offered from the million dollar plus homes which make up this community are absolutely breathtaking. Its location allows for easy access to all the world class restaurants, nightlife, art studios and community events in downtown Puerto Vallarta, while granting its residents the peaceful serenity of a truly one of a kind place to call home.

Nuevo Vallarta The Mexican State of Nayarit watched for years as its neighboring State of Jalisco reaped tremendous economical benefit from the tax revenues generated from its resort beach town of Puerto Vallarta. It was only logical for the State of Nayarit to attempt to develop a similar source of tax revenue and jobs for its citizens on its superior stretches of pristine beach further north along the Bay of Banderas coastline, and Nuevo Vallarta filled that need perfectly. The benefits of having had the opportunity to learn from what worked for the city of Puerto Vallarta and what didn't, has allowed Nuevo Vallarta to avoid many of the costly errors in infrastructure and design which have at times plagued neighboring Puerto Vallarta. The effects of this are all too obvious when one takes a drive through Paradise Village and the other communities which make up greater Nuevo Vallarta. It is a clean well-organized community with state of the art infrastructure and services that rival the best communities in the US and Canada.
